Gotta Catch 'Em All.... Again

Hi Guys! It's been a while since my last post but hey, everybody is busy right?

During the past few months that I've been gone, I started playing the new version of the Pokemon Games. Yeah, you got that. It's Pokemon Black 2 and White 2. Specifically, I have been playing with Pokemon White 2 and so far, so good and I mean really really really good. This version rocks ultimately especially about the...wait...there is no specific awesome part, because it's awesome as a whole. So Let's get down to reviewing the Game.

POKEMON BLACK 2/WHITE 2

Review:

Graphics: For and NDS/3DS/DSi Game, the graphics are spectacular. Unlike the other previous Pokemon games, everything is in motion and I mean everything. Unlike the Gen IV (HGSS/DPPL), Pokemon are moving throughout the battle scenario Comparing the movement with BW, this game ha smuch smoother movements, clearer motion backgrounds and every single trainer has their own movement intro.

For the Graphics, I give it
5/5
The Unova League Gym Leaders

Music: Remixes? Old Music? Crappy Background Music? Repetitive and Annoying? Pokemon BW2 defines the new era of Pokemon Music. Everything is different and it really helps in the mood of playing. SO you think you are in Unova, but theres definitely music from all different regions of Pokemon specially battling the old Gym Leaders. (oops, that one was a spoiler, sorry) And I can move to it's new beat without getting bummed out. Two words, Love It

For Music, I give it
5/5

Storyline: And I thought BW was deep. and this sh*t just got deeper. The story picks up 2 years from the end of BW story and yes, this one also has a great storyline to come with the characters. I would give it a 4 out of 5 because you wouldn't really get it if you haven't played the original BW...BUT there is the new Memory Link feature that can access through the old game and it let's you see the previous game progress (but of course you have to finish it first). I love that part because I can see my old character's name popping up from everywhere and new features keep getting unlocked.

So for Storyline
5/5

Me at the Pokestar Studios

Features: I won't blab but I'll post guides on "How To's for BW2 New Features" on my next post. All I can say is that the new features (and even the old ones) rock still. More features mean more gameplay!

My rating
5/5

Gameplay: This is the last of my Categories and there is just one thing I'd like to say about the gameplay. It is epic. Why the hell can I say that? It's Pokemon? But really, this game hit Japan's and USA's Game chart like a Blockbuster Harry Potter Movie. Because this game builds curiosity and it can blood-pump you anytime. This Pokemon is awesome as it is.

So for that
5/5

C-Gear

Wow! I can't believe I gave it a perfect score. Maybe those who can't understand the game are really having a hard time believing that it's such an awesome game. And yeah It's worth a shot for those who want's a new game.

And don't forget, Let's Battle sometime :)
My friend code is at the top.
Just add me through Pal Pad
then Let's do the Pokemon Battle via Nintendo WFC

And remember,
you must Catch them ALL!

Peace out! and Have a Happy Autumn!

Grey is The New Black

I never thought I would be writing something about a book. This book or rather this trilogy which everyone is talking about got me so curious. I didn't know what to expect because I wanted to know it for myself. I never really asked anyone what the plot of this story is. As I started reading the book, I knew that this was going to be a love story. As we call it in Filipino, it has the "kilig" factor, the same way how twilight piqued my curiosity. I am loving the book. Then as I advanced through the chapters, it hit me. This is not an ordinary love book. This is an erotic love story.  I never thought that I would be reading an erotic story from a pocketbook. I was feeling frantic because it's not what I expected, but I continued. The writer knew how to make you crave more. You will want to know the ending. You will want to know WHY.

I haven't finished the series yet. I haven't even finished the first book. But let me tell you this. It may not be the perfect love story that you want in a book, because we know we've read it, we've done that. This is unique in every way imaginable. BUT, it's not for kids. So dearies, when reading this book, pocketbook keep out of reach of children, iBook, make sure your iPad is locked and for Kindle, store it safely away.

Parents Guide:
 > Sex and Nudity = 4/5
 > Violence/Gore  = 3/5
 > Profanity = 5/5
 > Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking = 2/5
 > Frightening/Intense Scenes = 5/5
 > Overall parental rating (my opinion) = NC-17

For those of you who've read the book, Aren't we all waiting for the movie?! If so, here's a fan made trailer I found on YouTube which is particularly awesome.

Those who got curious, Happy Reading! :D

For Richer or for Poorer?

"97% of people work a J.O.B (Just Over Broke). All of them want an M.B.A. (Massive Bank Account). They are clueless on how to create wealth and be R.I.C.H. (Residual Income Creates Happiness), Continuously surrounding themselves with H.A.T.E.R.S (Having Anger Towards Everyone Reaching Success), and then wonder ...why they are P.O.O.R (Passing Over Opportunities Repeatedly)"

Raindrops

Once upon a time, I have always believed that the thought of the saying "when it rains, it pours" has and will always have a negative connotation with it. And up until today, I still believe it. But have you ever heard the saying "Rain is a blessing, the Lord is showering his grace upon us"? Yup, rain, now has a positive meaning. But which of the two things have I experienced? Not all of us experiences that and most only realizes that they have experienced it when tragedy strike, again and again and again. Well, now is not the time for negativity here. You may have not noticed it but these sayings include all the positive we can get. Rainfall = Blessings. Blessings = Positive Reactions and Happenings.

When we live our life, we need to look into all the details especially the positive which gives us hope and courage so that we can continue moving forward.

be inspired. live life.

Persona In Eu

Persona in eu. It's actually a Latin statement meaning "The Optimistic Person". Why did I change the name of my blog? It's because I have learned a lot while walking down the life path. Only in optimism we are able to fully see the life that we want to see. Only in optimism do we realize that negativity would bring us nowhere and only in optimism we show that we are capable of handling what the world throws at us.

Every single day of my life now, I see the difference when I have been overpowered by negativity. Everything falls apart back then, but right now, I handle things a little bit more responsibly and I have become a better person.

We should always remember that it's our attitude that creates us and it's our attitude that brings us closer to life.

Live life and learn by it.

Devastating Turn of Events

I'll just get straight to my point. An IDOL does not have to be judged by her age, race, ethnicity, image or sexuality. A lot of people keep talking on how they do not judge people but this just proves otherwise. As for me, writing this blog also makes me  a judgmental person.

People think that an American Idol has to be a hundred percent American. Isn't she? She has been living in the USA for the past 16 years of her life. By blood, it may not appear so. Just as all of us. There is a tiny hint of different blood that runs among us. Hello? we are in the 21st century. Think of how many past relatives you have. Can you still get back to the beginning and prove me wrong? Maybe so.

Looking back, an Idol represents the people and if any case you can't see what an Idol looks like, you may not be worthy of an idol.

What did I just say? Anyhow, I'm still rooting for five people. And I'll reveal who they are when we step in to the journey of six :)

Superior Nurse to the Rescue?

Being a nurse is not an easy job. Actually, I can't call it a JOB. It's a profession, a vocation that requires utmost dedication and hard work. We know that in being a nurse, we do our best to maintain the lives of our patients in partnership with all the team members of the hospital, mainly, the doctor. We have to maintain the ideal setups and procedures to prevent any nosocomial infections and other complications. But, being ideal is not always applicable to our Philippine Charity Hospitals.

The Top 13

I watched the latest episode of the new season of American Idol and I think it is time I give my own opinions to the Top 13 performances. I've been watching this show since Kelly Clarkson and I never really voiced out much. Sometimes I get disappointed with the judges decisions or comments when in fact, it's the total opposite. Let's start!

Holding On

How long is it gonna take before we see each other again? I'm kinda missing all of you right now. Some part of me is longing for the ecstatic times that we had back then. We may differ on our geographic locations, differ on our time orientations, and differ on the choices and opportunities we are having but I know that deep in my heart that you'll stay my by side, anywhere, anytime. You'll always be friends, family, and siblings to me. :)

I'll never let go.
Always take care my dearest friends.

This tutorial will help you to add a customized music player and create your own playlist. The first 2 steps of this tutorial will let you add the songs to your blog (Repeat these steps whenever you want to add more songs to your blog/posts), and step #3 will add a floating MP3 player to your blog.

For this tutorial you will have to open an account here:
1. OpenDrive (online storage).

STEP #1:
Upload songs (MP3 files) to your newly registered OpenDrive account,
right click on the file and then click on the hyperlink "links" as shown in the screenshot below:

Then copy the "DIRECT LINK" (Streaming) to that file.

STEP #2:
Now, paste it as a hyperlink in to your blog:
1. Either paste it in the sidebar (Blogger -> Design -> Page Elements -> "Add a Gadget -> HTML/JavaScript") to play the songs site-wide,
2. Or paste it in a blog-post (anywhere in the post), if you want to play the songs only in a particular post.
(List all the songs you want to play as these hyperlinks)

The hyperlinks to the songs should look like this:
<a href="http://DIRECT_LINK_TO_SONG_1"style="display:none;">Song_1_Title</a>
<a href="http://DIRECT_LINK_TO_SONG_2"style="display:none;">Song_2_Title</a>

Replace the links highlighted in RED with the DIRECT LINKS you got from OpenDrive in STEP

The code style="display:none;" will hide the hyperlinks (song titles). If you want to show the links to your visitors, then delete the code highlighted in BLUE, before saving the widget/post.

STEP #3
Finally, to play these songs we will add the floating MP3 player to the blog.
Go to this page: StreamPad

AAnd click on the Blogger logo:

Before copying the code, go to the bottom of the page:

And customize the player as you want: Enable Autoplay, change colors, Allow popout etc.

Finally copy the code from Step 5 in that page.
If the code in Step 5 does not get updated when you customize the options, then simply use this code:

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://o.aolcdn.com/art/merge?f=/_media/sp/sp-player.js&f=/_media/sp/sp-player-blogger.js&expsec=86400&ver=11&clicktext=Click%20to%20Play%20the%20DEMO%20Song&showplaylist=false&showplaylistbutton=true&autoplay=true&showpop=true&popup=false"></script>

Change the values highlighted in RED from true to false or vice-versa And paste that code in to your blog:
Go to Blogger -> Design -> Page Elements -> Add a Gadget -> HTML/JavaScript"
Paste the code and save widget.

NOTE 1 (Important): In case you want to "show" this widget only in a single post or in a group of posts, then instead of pasting the above code in the sidebar widget, paste it inside the post (anywhere in the post) where you want to display the widget (floating bar MP3 player).
NOTE 2: If you paste the code in the sidebar, then the bar is shown across all the pages on your blog and wherever (either the sidebar/blog posts) songs are detected, it will be added to the floating bar as long as the visitor remains in a particular page.
NOTE 3: As an alternative MP3 player, you may try the media Player from Yahoo (with Video support) instead of the one from Streampad (in step #3).

This widget can detect all the links to songs on any page (which you have already added in STEP #2 of this tutorial) and will start playing them as a playlist, in a floating bar from the bottom of the page.

Now sit back & Let The Music Play

Catch Me

"But you're so hypnotizing, You've got me laughing while I sing, you've got me smiling in my sleep. And I can see this unraveling, your love is where I'm falling so please don't Catch me...
If this is love please don't break me. I'm giving up so just Catch me..."

This is the question I keep asking myself. What's up with them? And it just shows that there is really something going on and I know I'm not allowed to meddle. Well, It's like a personal television show that I am watching daily, only this time, it's live.

Game of L-O-V-E

"Stupid cupid, stop picking on me.."

Today is Valentine's day. How cool is that right? Another event where we watch people do different stuff to each other. There's expensive dating in an expensive restaurant. There's flower shopping at the place we call Dangwa. There are people, mostly couples, on picnic mats at the Rizal Park having romantic lunch times or dinner times. How about this? At home, there would be Dad brings Mom a huge bouquet of flowers, something for the kids and bringing home food for the whole family. Then there are the friends who hang out in something they call Single's Day Out. People do different stuff on Valentine's day. And I love it, when I see the LOVE flowing through the air around us. It's actually a nice feeling.

Capturing Moments

Fate, Destiny, Will of God. Call it whatever it is but I think all works the same way. All are designed to protect you whatever the costs are. Whatever the costs, you ask? It may or may not ruin your life for a day or you may or may not lose something important. And I guess we need to deal with these things because it is for our own good.

Think of a time when something happened to you and you regretted it deeply. Let's say, you got sick, missed work, missed your promotion, it was given to another and you lose. Another scenario might go like this: You love someone, it's your best friend, you tell her, and you friendship goes down and you get heartbroken then lose a friend. Let's not focus on the negative aspect. What about this? You missed the bus you are about to ride, you take a cab, then on your way, you see the bus that you were supposed to ride, crashed and in flames. Lucky? Wait, that's a bit brutal don't you think? Let's have lighter one. You are a regular nurse caring for all the patients in the ward being nice to them, an old dying cancer patient asks if you could be a private duty nurse for him, you agreed, and as he dies, some of his riches were entitled to you according to his will. You see, this is not just a form of writing that I am exaggerating. These events are and can occur anytime, any day, to somebody, to me, to you, to anybody.

Twisted

Sometimes, It really sucks that the show your watching ends the way you predicted it. It kills the excitement. We complain. Why do they create such TV shows if we know how the story would end? Why do they even bother writing books if you can predict the conclusion? Why re-create movies if it's the same old one? Then directors, novelists, script writers create various twists in our tales just to make them more interesting and to juice up and spice up the regular novel slash movie slash tv series that they make. Again, once they do this, we keep asking, why this, why that, why, why, why, why, why. Don't we get tired of complaining. Sometimes, all we have to do is to go with the flow, see where it goes and don't expect too much because if we do, we get disappointed.

Atrial Flutter or Ventricular Fibrillation: The Heart Matters

"Now I'm about to give you my heart, but remember this one thing, I've never been in-love before so you gotta go easy on me..."

Ever wonder why I entitled my blog with those words? Well, I'm heart broken. Literally. I don't really have a normal cardiac rhythm and cardiac anatomy. It just shows that being heart broken is not all about L-O-V-E, love. I'm not actually bitter because I have been heart broken, twice or thrice in my lifetime. It's really no big deal and I don't get why people are making a fuss out of it, especially this coming Valentine's day. But, let's get to the point of my blog. This isn't about me or my heart broken-ness. This about someone, or rather two people, I know.

Everlasting

Meeting people. I've always been afraid of meeting new people, afraid of what they may think of me as they get to know me, or, afraid of what I label them as who they are. I'm not the friendliest person on the block. I am afraid to interact with the not so many people around the world. I'm really not the type of guy that would become friends too easily. I stand my guard and create barriers to protect myself. This barrier breaks when I find someone irresistible and/or kind. The same way I use an approach. I've had it with fake friends, users, and jealous green eyed monsters. I know a mature person when I see one and I know a mature person when I meet one.

Why on earth am I blabbering about this shit? Because, I have met a lot of awesome people for the past couple of years. Mature and kindhearted people. Easy to get along and shares their knowledge with you. Will be there beside you at you darkest hours and will be ready to protect you at your weakest point. I think this statement goes to all the friend, true friends, I'm starting to have.

The Way We Move Defines Ourselves

This is a story about the events that happened earlier..

I've always had the notion that pleasing everyone before me creates a good impression, for myself and for others. I would always step down just so that there would be no arguments of some sort. I have lived a life full of win-lose situations. The person I talked to wins and the other one loses. I have learned to change that notion gradually because, apparently, pleasing others would only make you lose in every way possible. You lose the pride, the power and most importantly, the self-esteem. I regained myself for the past few years and made it clear that YOU CAN'T PLEASE EVERYONE. Yes, you may have to cross the line a few times, but if you don't, you will never get there. There are situations that this statement isn't applicable but almost all the time, it is. I always remember the Filipino saying "Pag gusto, may paraan. Kapag ayaw may dahilan. (If you want it, you find ways to make it happen. If you don't, you reason out)" It almost seems that this saying is congruent to the first one. Let me get started.
