For Richer or for Poorer?

"97% of people work a J.O.B (Just Over Broke). All of them want an M.B.A. (Massive Bank Account). They are clueless on how to create wealth and be R.I.C.H. (Residual Income Creates Happiness), Continuously surrounding themselves with H.A.T.E.R.S (Having Anger Towards Everyone Reaching Success), and then wonder ...why they are P.O.O.R (Passing Over Opportunities Repeatedly)"

Twisted

Sometimes, It really sucks that the show your watching ends the way you predicted it. It kills the excitement. We complain. Why do they create such TV shows if we know how the story would end? Why do they even bother writing books if you can predict the conclusion? Why re-create movies if it's the same old one? Then directors, novelists, script writers create various twists in our tales just to make them more interesting and to juice up and spice up the regular novel slash movie slash tv series that they make. Again, once they do this, we keep asking, why this, why that, why, why, why, why, why. Don't we get tired of complaining. Sometimes, all we have to do is to go with the flow, see where it goes and don't expect too much because if we do, we get disappointed.

Atrial Flutter or Ventricular Fibrillation: The Heart Matters

"Now I'm about to give you my heart, but remember this one thing, I've never been in-love before so you gotta go easy on me..."

Ever wonder why I entitled my blog with those words? Well, I'm heart broken. Literally. I don't really have a normal cardiac rhythm and cardiac anatomy. It just shows that being heart broken is not all about L-O-V-E, love. I'm not actually bitter because I have been heart broken, twice or thrice in my lifetime. It's really no big deal and I don't get why people are making a fuss out of it, especially this coming Valentine's day. But, let's get to the point of my blog. This isn't about me or my heart broken-ness. This about someone, or rather two people, I know.

The Way We Move Defines Ourselves

This is a story about the events that happened earlier..

I've always had the notion that pleasing everyone before me creates a good impression, for myself and for others. I would always step down just so that there would be no arguments of some sort. I have lived a life full of win-lose situations. The person I talked to wins and the other one loses. I have learned to change that notion gradually because, apparently, pleasing others would only make you lose in every way possible. You lose the pride, the power and most importantly, the self-esteem. I regained myself for the past few years and made it clear that YOU CAN'T PLEASE EVERYONE. Yes, you may have to cross the line a few times, but if you don't, you will never get there. There are situations that this statement isn't applicable but almost all the time, it is. I always remember the Filipino saying "Pag gusto, may paraan. Kapag ayaw may dahilan. (If you want it, you find ways to make it happen. If you don't, you reason out)" It almost seems that this saying is congruent to the first one. Let me get started.
